Vacuum them with brush attachment.
Craft a box to protect them
Suzanne, sorry I had to laugh at your question, I would love to know how to keep dust of everything !!!!... LOL... seriously , I bought a lot of Velcro ties from the dollar store, wrapped them around the cables for each item, i.e. light, computer, cd player, etc.. also I use the plastic tags from bread or rolls from grocery store and label with marker and add to the wires for each item. then if you take a dollar store woven basket and turn it upside down and cover the whole lot. you may have to cut away one side of the basket.. this way all you have to do is dust the top of the basket.
How about an electronic dust repellant? Un plug and let dry first.

I just use a $ store microfibre or chenille duster and it works well. It doesn't repel but it makes light work.

I use a swiffer duster and then vacuum up the debris with my hand vacuum.
To get off, use a clothes dryer sheet. To keep it off, use a twist tie to attach a dryer sheet to one of the cords very near the outlet, just not touching and bare wires. Change every 3 months. 😇
Sorry, Suzanne. I did not know they had to be hidden. Lots of other people have asked for ideas for hiding the wires and have come up with great ideas. 😇
