I like to use 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 bottled lemon juice in a spray bottle with 2 big squirts of dishwashing liquid, don't leave it too long on chrome or cultured marble, and avoid using it on stone countertops. I also sometimes use just citrus vinegar (let citrus fruit peels sit in a bottle of lemon juice for at least 2 weeks, strain then use the vinegar. It smells great. I use vinegar in the wash with a bit of detergent, and also pour it in the fabric softener dispenser. I haven't used FS in years. My clothes no longer fade or tansfer colour, my towels are absorbent and soft, and the bacteria. is killed.

Personally, for most of my cleaning I use peroxide and baking soda!

    Good luck!

I read an article a week or so ago about natural cleaning. It said to use a half cup of white vinegar and a quarter cup of baking soda and a tablespoon Blue Dawn dish soap. Mix it with a gallon of water. Use it in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and even in the garden. I have not tried this yet, but intend to. I hope this helps you. Good luck.

I use baby wipes to clean my walls - it works really well on scuff marks and stains without leaving streaks. I use the Whole Foods 365 brand. For hard water stains, scrubbing the area with a halved lemon and coarse salt does the trick.
