Try using a little rubbing alcohol on a q-tip. Works well but you only want to remove the paint not the countertop!

Scrape it off, maybe. I use my nails but depending on how easy it is to scratch your countertop, you could try a hard plastic edged pancake turner or if you are careful, a razor to gently remove the paint. Good lucK!

I usually use a round plastic kitchen scrubbie and a plastic spackle knife.

Don't Scrape it unless you are just Using your Finger!

Goof Off...read the instructions. Test on inconspicuous spot. Use q-tip to remove the paint. Works great, even on old paint spots. And, no, Goo Gone does not work nearly as well., if at all.

Assuming it's veneer, a razor blade and some acetone will do the trick. I'm in process of doing the same thing right now. Tedious but worth it.

Try scraping it off gently with a straight single edge razor blade. If that doesn't work, try using a blow dryer to soften the paint a little then try to scrape it off.

What material is your countertop? If it is laminate, you could try one of the razor scrapers used for getting paint off windows.
