Volc oil ( buy in with other bug sprays) works great! Although recently I haven't been able to find any. Hopefully you will have better luck

Try Peppermint essential oil on cotton balls in all of the corners in your house.

I always had lots of dead spiders in the kitchen overhead light fixture. I put peppermint essential oil on a cotton ball and just laid it inside the glass cover. It's been more than a month, and the spiders haven't been back.
