Mine did last year. It became huge. Not sure if i can keep moving it in snd out so may cut back this year.

Yes re-pot in fresh soil,spray all the leaves with horticultural oil,place on a porch for a few days to get it adjusted to less lighting,bring indoors and place in the brightest location possible.It will drop the leaves which is a normal process,keep watered but not saturated
I agree with Janet. Use fresh soil before bringing it into the house. It will know that it's winter and will go dormant but don't worry, it's not dead. It needs as much sun as you can offer while in the house. It should be fine and next spring it can go back outside.
