I have a stained concrete living room/kitchen/hallway floor that has faded in spots. I have used stain that was designed to be used on clay from JoAnn Fabrics, and mixed several shades in water to get the desired color of the original stain. Applied it to the faded areas, and then sealed with grout sealer. You don't see any of the faded area as any different from the original.
I had mine washed with choir
Restain if faded, or just put a new coat of seal on it. Pour a little water on it to see what it would look like with just sealer.
Clean and retain the patio in a darker color
Paint a faux rug on it to add a bit of fun and color.
