Roses love potassium. I use banana peels to feed them. I just throw it behind the bush, but you could puree it and add a little water if you like. People always stop and ask me how I get my roses to bloom so much, the answer is so simple! Hope this helps. It does not hurt to even feed them in winter. I feed mine year round.
