20 DIY Kitchen Cabinets To Update Your Kitchen
Wash all the doors and draws, with Murphy's oil soap, follow bottle directions. Next wipe down with a clean rag , to eliminate any grease and .take the doors and hardware off. You should have your paint ready. Look at your appliances, and see what color would give contrast to your kitchen. Homedepot or Lowe's has a huge variety of colors and textures. I suggest a high gloss so it can be wiped with a wet rag or wet paper towel. You need to paint the doors on a flat surface, so you don't have globs and streaks. Also think about changing the hardware to something new. or spray paint the hardware you have. My appliances are black and stainless steel. My walls are a light cantaloupe, and my floor is a mixture of tan, white, and beige. My cabinets were an ugly brown, now they are bright white with high gloss paint. You'll pick something nice, take you time. Good Luck!
You can paint them!
