Topless Table Becomes Mirrored Bar

Who can pass up a free piece of furniture? Certainly not me! A friend had attempted to sell a table base online and after no takers, she offered it on Facebook for free. Luckily, I was the first to respond with great excitement. My visions of a wonderful vintage marble top bar quickly faded when I realized a piece of marble was going to cost upwards of $100. After painting it with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Paris Linen, accenting it with white, distressing, and finishing it with several coats of wax, I opted for a $30 piece of slightly imperfect mirror. SO glad that I went with the mirror as my crystal barware reflects beautifully, especially in candle light. THANKS, Amy for the topless table which is now my bar.
