The easiest way is to first determine the planting zone you live in. Then you can either google "plants for zone# or check out local nurseries or nursery catalogs that come in the mail. The next step would be to determine whether the plantings are for part sun, full sun, or shady areas. We seldom have only perennials which come back from year to year. Annuals provide a burst of good color (sometimes for one season and and others for multiple seasons) when watered, deadheaded, and cared for properly. Enjoy the fun that landscaping can provide!
I have lots of rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas, and peonies.
dep on if u get a lot of sun or not. Either way there are tons of options , perennials or annuals . Good luck and have fun 🌻
Try Pflox, they flower, come back and multiply. Get to 3'-4' tall.
Cone flowers and coreopsis!!!
