What type of paint did you use and what was on them previously?
What is the solution that you are using when you wipe them? This maybe the reason why they are fading. Try warm water, with no solution and this may show you what is wrong. Best wishes, J.
What are you using to wash them
If your painting something you plan on wiping down, you best use satin or semi-gloss..... flat paint loses it color when wipes and gradually wears away.
