What is a good color for kitchen cabinets to match a black fridge?

If you want a clean, modern look, I would paint them a medium smoky gray with bright white trim (since black + white = gray, this should be a dynamite combo!)

According to the real estate folks that are doing open houses to sell Mom's house, the new trend is light uppers and dark lowers, so 2 shades of grey would be awesome, or white uppers with a medium grey on lowers...

Black and white kitchen are a classic and gray is the hip, cool and trendy color now if you want a more modern look. If you like to change accessories or decor for the seasons or holidays you can't go wrong.
