Maybe it's Tar or Oil??? Try looking for Stain Devil they make them for many stains....
Assuming you've already tried spray stain cleaners, I suggest applying vinegar just enough to make it damp, cover with baking soda and let dry. Vacuum, and rinse and vac it. Should take it out. May have to do it more than once if the stain is really set. If it is a grease stain, I would try cleaning it with a microfiber cloth or sponge saturated with dawn detergent (not drippy wet). Dawn is fabulous on grease and oil.
I would get an oil and tar remover like Goo Gone Original that says it takes out oil and tar... https://www.amazon.com/Goo-Gone-Original-Spray-Gel/dp/B001R4XHRQ/ref=sr_1_10?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1505763131&sr=1-10&keywords=stain%2Bremover%2Bfor%2Boil%2Band%2Btar&th=1
Is it attached to the car or removeable? If it's a mat you can remove it, treat it with Spot Shot, then take it to the pressurized car wash and use that to clean it. Hang it to dry. If it's in the car, try the Spot Shot. I like that stuff. Good luck.
Here is a link to help you out. Commercial canned carpet cleaner should work. Do you have a good carwash that you can take it to? Mine can literally perform miracles and look showroom fresh for just a few dollars.

First vacuum your floor mat.
Take it out and spray it with a garden hose on jet setting. add a little liquid dishwashing soap right on the stain. Spray again until all the soap is gone. I've done this many times to my floor mats. Let them air dry thoroughly before you put them back in the car.
try shaving cream - Barbasol cleaned a stain on my rug that nothing else worked on.
I get a lot of carpet stains out with 409 Carpet Cleaner. I found it at WM near other spray carpet cleaners.
If Mean Green won't remove it nothing will. Dollar store or dollar general
Mix vinegar and Mr clean together in a spray. scrub with a carpet brush .you can also use grease lighting and dawn (original) .always gets grease, mildew off carpets.let you car air out for about a hour
Take the mats out of the car, lay them on a flat surface, and scrub with a carpet-cleaner. Then hose off, and hang on a fence railing to dry. Failing that, buy new mats.
Owner of car wash recommended a product called Tech to us ... works great.
