Thanks for the ideas. Very little water in N. Georgia is drinkable because of the giardia. We have had several years of heavier than usual rain, so when it turns dry again likely this spring will disappear. So I don't want to invest a lot in something that in 3-4 years will disappear. It doesn't have much of a flow rate, probably only 20 gallons a day.

Since water is such a precious commodity, I would find a way to at least irrigate my garden with the water.
I would also have tested to for potability.
