ORGANIZING a Smallish Purse

It's not the biggest problem in the world. It's not even the biggest place in my house that needs organizing. But I was losing important cards in my smallish purse.
All of this came out of my purse. Money, lipstick, cards from a dozen health care professionals, money, credit cards, gift cards to restaurants, napkins and Kleenex, receipts, ID cards, a little maroon purse, an old checkbook cover to hold gift cards, sunglasses, crayons, some more paper, a list of medicines, two ink pens, a plastic-wrapped toothpick, a newspaper article, a couple of peppermints and a Tums. No wallet, phone.
I emptied my purse. Inside is a small zippered pocket. The purse has another small pocket w/o a zipper, so anything in there spills out quickly. Even though this is a small purse, I can't carry anything heavier, and I need to keep it light inside. When I leave the house, I usually throw in my cell phone and a bottle of water. 22 more ounces.
There are no outside pockets or clips.
I asked HOMETALK.com for ideas and I got plenty. Almost everybody suggested some form of plastic bag or purchased purse insert. I want to go no cost first. If this doesn't work, I'll order one of the products recommended by my Hometalk friends.
Isn't this better? Of course, I filed all the receipts, threw out the trash, stacked the things I wanted in the purse, and put away things that didn't need to be there. The three blue crayons from IHOP, sadly, are now in the used crayon box.
Zippered maroon purse holds all my paper money and credit and ID cards. The checkbook cover still holds all the gift cards. My purse's only zippered pocket now holds all those business cards and appt. cards. Yes, I have a Baggy! It has my ink pens, a Wet Nap, a Kleenex, and my sunglasses.
It's been fun, getting ideas and putting them to use immediately.

Nice! What did you do with the pocket without the zipper? I don't like putting anything in there because it falls out.
