Hi Sara, just to clarify your question, do you want to know how to take care of wood furniture? Or do you live near woods/trees that you think need help? And a picture or two always helps.
As in forest or furniture?
Old English. Its wonderful.
Hello Sara K Ford :) My Dad loved working with wood, and my Uncle was a landscaper and had a tree farm about 2 hours from his home (which came in handy for Daddy when he needed or wanted some wood for a project LOL)
My siblings and I have grown up with a love for wood, preferring it be left as natural as possible, maybe with a light stain on it to enhance the grain (and only painted if there is a particular statement we want to make in decorating, or if there is a stain so badly ingrained that it won't come out and would ruin the look of the piece we are working on). With all that being said, here is a link that tells you just aobut every single thing you will need to know about wood and how to care for the various types listed in this article. Thanks you for asking HOMETALK for answers, and enjoy everything you are about to learn from reading this article (more like "studying" it because it's nothing you can just skim over quickly) ;)
