What can i use to clean silver plate

If so, there is a recipe using baking soda - salt and aluminum foil.

line a bowl with aluminum foil (bowl big enough to hold 2 cups of very hot water.)

Mix 1 TBSP baking soda

1 TBSP salt with the hot water.

Put your silverplate into the bowl (whatever size will fit your item(s)

let it soak and voila tarnish is gone.

I would then dry the item(s) with a dry cloth to avoid water spots.

I use TarnX. It's a wipe and rinse cleaner. Very effective and easy to use.

Because it is plated, you don't want to use a strong cleanser like Tarnex that takes off a layer of silver. I use Wright's Silver Cream.
