Very small black or dark bugs in pantry, unopened cellophane wrapped or paper packages. Can you identify and advice?
Get vacuum storage bags. Follow directions removing the air from the bags. These bags compress your blankets and keep them clean whike you're storing them.
The most compact way: buy vacuum-seal bags. When you vacuum the air out of bulky blankets, they shrink down to a compact size, then puff right back up again when you open the bag. Here's a package on sale: http://a.co/9VTyf9M
The simplest way: put them in a blanket chest, which also makes a great coffee table. You can frequently find a blanket chest second-hand for not much money, but here's a selection of new ones from Wayfair: https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/sb1/blanket-decorative-trunks-c530811-a76498~370712.html

Diane, I like to use the storage bags that remove the air and condense the blankets or comforters by about half their usual size. You can find them online or in some stores like Target or Bed Bath and Beyond. You remove the air using a vacuum and seal them up. They come in a variety of sizes to fit large items.
Storage tubs or vacuum storage bags
Ziplock makes big storage bags that you suck all of the air out with a vacuum making them not take up so much room. They are called space bag by ziplock. I have purchased them at Walgreens. Walmart and Target also carry them.
How about space bags? I have mine in quilt bags in a closet on the floor with lavender sachets so they are less musty.
Space bags!
Just repeating what everyone else said...vacuum bags.
I paid a lot for my first ones when they came out on the market. They were thick, but leaked. Even $ stores have them now. Another option is a heavy duty garbage bag, and your vacuum cleaner. Use tape or a rubber band to seal. Then place in a bin or chest. I take garbage bags, and just use them for garbage when I open them. I used to put fabric softener sheets of bits of cedar, in with them too.
try space saver bags or Rubbermaid has their brand now too you suck the air out with vacuum cleaner hose and they take up less space in the closet
