Hello Dee, I'm sorry to hear you are having wasp problems. Like bees they are so beneficial in pollinating plants (as long as they keep their distance from me and my grandkids LOL). They DO become a problem, though, when they decide to make the eaves of a home the place wher they build THEIR home! Did you know you CAN deter them by creating your own "hive" to scare them off (usually) with a brown paper bag? REALLY! plus it doesn't hurt to place this wasp trap a distance from your living area in the yard so they would prefer going THERE instead of near your home. I am posting below links for BOTH the trap and the fake hive. Good Luck and thank you for coming to HOMETALK for solutions :)
