How to build a nail polish rack

I would look to buy a small spice rack at a yard sale. If you wanted them in a drawer, tilted plastic rows would help organize them. Or if you can make or find a thin box, add a larger dowel rod for the polish to set on, and a thinner dowel rod to hold them. The dowel rod one looks the simplest to me to build. See the photos for ideas. With the dowel rods you would have a choice for height and also adjust it on one row for other containers like remover or cotton balls. Just a thought.

Hi Lucy :) Yes, I have an idea for Dip Nail Powder jars ;) THREE of them as a matter of fact, and the first idea is just a decorated plastic lazy susan like you would use in the kitchen for spice jars. I have posted links below to the other 2 suggestions. Again, they are racks you could make yourself (one with some pieces of wood, some small nails, some Gorilla Glue or E6000 glue, and paint, if you want to ... you will have to look at the way the rack is made, since there are no directions ... , and the other one is actually a flat wall hung magnet deal, with a decorated metallic... or piece of painted or fabric covered plywood with some flat metal attached. You'll also need strong magnets and epoxy or E6000 glue, or double-sided magnetic tape cut to fit the lid, although I can't swear how strong THOSE would be for the size jars you have).

Here are the links to the projects and of course you can adjust them however you wish, the basic premise for each will still be the same ... a place for the jars to fit comfortably ;) :

In the video below if you don't have a piece of 20 gauge sheet metal (oh yeah lots of folks happen to have it just laying around, right? LOL) you can use an old cookie sheet or cake pan and spray paint it or even cover it with a piece of glued down fabric that you like. You can apply the magnets to the bottom of the jars you already use and they will stick to the metal base

I realize this question was originally posted in 2017, but I just wanted to share that the IKEA spice racks work well for storage and access of nail polish bottles.
