Can you add tile around exciting tile

Donna Byram on Feb 28, 2014IF you are asking if you can place new tile above tile that is already there, I would say yes, but make sure it is the same thickness as the old tile. I would tape a piece of what you are wanting to use on the wall first with painter's tape to see if you are truly going to like it or not. Might download a picture to get opinions on how it looks before permanent application. :)Helpful Reply

Leslie Bynum on Mar 04, 2014thanks yes this helped. I also talk to a tile expert and he told me to use the same color of grout or close to it and to use a product that can blend the colors of the grout so it looks like both of the tiles where layed at the same timeHelpful Reply
