Google is my best friend - I can find almost anything. Then check their license through your states Contractors License Board. I am also on Nextdoor and receive great neighbor recommendations too.
Go to Google maps over your town and put in furniture refinishing near me and places will come up on the map. Also, check with any antique stores in your area. I run a booth at an antique mall and people there know I refinish furniture.
