Try undiluted white vinegar first. If the film is heavy duty, you can use Lime Away, but use caution and wear gloves. Real Simple suggests using one of those metal scrubby Brillo pad - see here: https://www.realsimple.com/home-organizing/cleaning/professional-cleaners-secrets#brillo-pad and treating your shower door with Rain-X to help avoid spots from forming.
Purchase a box of Brillo Pads with soap, a pair of rubber gloves, a squeeze and a microfiber towel.
1. Wet the shower doors.
2. Scrub with a Brillo Pad.
3. Rinse the shower doors.
4. Squeeze the shower doors.
5. Dry with microfiber towel
Behold, sparking glass!
i use Comet spray foam cleaner it works great on hard water and soap scum
