    Loaded question! You can cut back a lot but most really don't need it. (In the wild, they keep growing whether they are trimmed or not!) You also need to be sure of what type of plants you have because you can damage the next year's blooms if you cut back the wrong areas. The best bet is to question each plant to be sure. Either Google, ask a local greenhouse or come back to HomeTalk to ask.
