Try dampening a paper towel with bleach and laying that over the stain. Keep it moist. If it is a rust stain, a commercial rust remover is the easiest.
I love a product called The Works...you really spray it on..leave for a bit and very little scrubbing! Make sure to have lots of ventilation, it is strong, take care of breathing it in.
Get Barkeepers at Dollar General. Or try Hydrogen peroxide soaks. If stain has corrupted the porcelain, go to a craft store and get stick on decals.....

Barkeepers (similar to comet, but WAY WAY BETTER)....or a toilet stone. Both will do the job.
