you can make breakers with the tabs.
Our local Ronald McDonald House collects them as a fundraiser to meet expenses, perhaps you could check if you have one close. They also make good hangers for light pictures that don't have a hanger on it.
#1, they make great coat hanger extensions. Just slip the tab over the curve & add another hanger, say pair up an outfit, or just hang blouses, whatever, I use mine about 4 deep . lift off the blouse I need and reattach the remainder to the system. takes up little closet space.4 or 5 all in the same spot. #2. American Legion collect the pull tabs, then when accumulated submit them for $$ which they then use for Vets. So much cleaner than collecting soda cans. Also consider the pull tabs on cans of SOUP .they seem to be larger & easier to use in the closet , hope this helps,Dee
Drop them off at a McDonald's . Look up Ronald McDonald's web site. I've been saving them for yrs.
donate them to the Ronald McDonald house.
Hello Hugh Ferguson, I hope you enjoy looking through the link I am posting below with hundreds of ideas for using pop can and beer can tabs :) I don't know if YOU know how to use PInterest (most do but some don't) so if you see a picture of a craft you would like to try or know more about, click on that pic which will take you to what I cal la "portal" pic of it which will have in the lower right corner the word VISIT or READ or something similar. Click on THAT word and you'll be taken to a page (99% of the time) telling you how to make the craft, or at the very least (1% of the time) to a close-up view of the project so you can look at it more closely and try to figure out how to do it. Good Luck, Have Fun and Thank You for using HOMETALK for ideas :)
annnnnnnd HERE is the link (sorry LOL) >>>
