There is a brace in the frame if the table just no hole in the glass. Is there a way to do this successfully??
there is a glue at home depot that is for glass. I would use that.
There are a lot of glues at Home Depot,Here is the proper answer
they usually dont glue the glass on. Mine stick over the edge they put like sift plastic disc on the base. Call a glass place for a recommendation
Unless you never plan on moving the table, I would not glue glass to table. When moving it is best to take glass off table and pack seperately. If you really need to glue the top to the table, they make a clear glue for class.
Home depot do a mirror mounting kit Model # 82002
Internet #205598133 Store SKU #1001191557
Basically, 4 'J' - shaped clips which you screw to the wall, hang the frameless mirror & gently slide the side clips to hold the mirror & prevent it from tipping forwards.
Perhaps use a little double-sided tape to hold these clips onto the glass then maybe a decent double sided sticky pad to stick the rear of the clip to the table (like the command sticky pads for hanging picture hooks). Of course, you could simply buy some strong double sided sticky pads! Perhaps buy the black ones so they won't show up so much?
I agree that the best solution is the rubber disks on the bottom. you might try a woodworkers supply like Woodcraft, Rockler or any other place as such. You will be able to find different sizes for your needs and I believe that you will need the biggest and thickest ones you can get to prevent slipping. You will need to place them evenly all around the edge about 2 inches from the edge and several more throughout the inside to give it even holding pressure on the glass to prevent breaking.
The only way I see is to cut a wood ring the size of the table silicone it down, and then put glue evenly on ring then carefully place the glass....................... otherwise glue it down but the glue will be uneven
