What plant zone do you happen to be in? Is it possibly be in a really dark corner or lacks proper watering? Wandering Jew has always been one of my "iron" plants. Almost impossible to deter growth. We are in planting zone 7B; my mother even cut off some growth because the plant was overgrowing the area it was in. She asked neighbors if they would like the cuttings. No one was interested, so she threw them into the shrubs just outside the backdoor, thinking they would freeze and disappear in a freeze expected in the next few days. Next spring the shoots sprang up from the spring warm-up. She then pulled them up and had a new hanging plant to give as a gift!
