Hanging Curtains in Our Kitchen {save tons of $ on your gas bill}

After the Christmas ice storm was over, we kept the sheets up in our kitchen doorways because it kept our kitchen 15 degrees warmer. That saved us a ton of $ on our gas bill. I eventually found these pretty Gypsy Ruffled Curtain panels and knew they would look pretty and help us keep the heat in. Where I found them, and how much they were all located in my post here: http://redheadcandecorate.com/4/post/2014/02/gypsy-ruffled-curtain-panels.html
I purposely put the curtain rod low because I wanted to see the hardware.

    I've hung curtains in my home and apartment for years. Not only does it save on heat it cuts off each room to show off a different feel for each space. Some do not like this as it cuts up rooms. It's great to see posts like this. So cute.

    Yep, welcome to my world also! I think I will make some pretty curtains this year instead of just hanging whatever blanket I grab. Thanks for sharing.
