What is the best sealer for hard wood floors

Hi I have dogs that have just ruined our hard wood floors. Does anyone know of a finish that urine will not penetrate?

Pet urine will even ruin marine varnish. Have you tried piddle pads? My neighbor uses incontinence pads as they are much cheaper.
Epoxy is best bet.
