Best way is to hire a lawn service for it. Your time, plus buying the stuff adds up to what a professional would charge you.
Good question... Hard to do.
I use a granular lawn insectide (Spectricide) for grub control. I put it on with a broadcast spreader and can do my quarter acre lot in just a few minutes.
First you need to get some type of lawn repellent, but their expensive.$24-39 for a small bag. I'd go to Homedepot or Lowe's and ask in the nursery/plant department, They will help you decide what you need for your particular problem. Good Luck!
