Annie Sloan paint on 'cheap' kitchen cabinets

Can the Annie Sloan paint dress up kitchen cabinets in a way that makes them look professional? Pre-fab older home with what I'm sure are pre-fab kitchen cabinets - definitely need a makeover but can't find any examples using this paint on 'cheap' cabinets. There is a supplier of Plaster Paints locally but they also don't have any examples. I'm thinking I will go the distance for the Annie Sloan brand .. any help greatly appreciated!

Most Annie Sloan Stockist teach classes. I would suggest a class. I did my daughters.She loves them. What is the look your looking for? A antique look or a smooth finish? Ect..

I would like an antique look .. and saw some actual pieces finished with Annie Sloan paint yesterday at the nearest store to me .. and just love it!
