It's hard to give blueberry advice to someone from Maine. As a young girl, that's all I knew about Maine--blueberry bogs were flooded to harvest the berries there. I guess things are different now with blueberry bushes. Yes, you should prune the blueberry bushes in the fall so new growth can come in the spring, when you will feed the bushes. It sounds like you are doing a good job. Best wishes 😇
depends on where you are. In the south we can prune anytime. I have 25 bushes. Just remember new growth will not yield berries the first Year.
