When I get Christmas cards that have this snow flake cut out design on it . I save the front of the card., I keep it .In a plastic box with cake decorating supply's..
#1 cut the card face off the back .I check to see the card face is flat. if not, I use a dry heat, clothing iron on a low setting to just iron the card flat. I put a clean pillow case over the card before I iron it flat.
#2 I then make a brownie or an apple sauce cake. or a cake you are not going to frost. This mix will make an 8x8 size .I like using a round pie pan for this brownie mix. Cook and cool the brownie
#3 put your flat card face on the brownie or cake (cake or brownie, must be cool)
#4 Use a little mesh screen to shake powdered sugar all over the top of your card , As it sits on the brownie. Just lightly just lightly sprinkle the powdered sugar. Then pick up both sides of the card at the same time ,just set it aside
this is a little of what it should look like. As I put the card to the side ,I stumbled over my dog I bumped the pan .and messed up my nice clean powdered sugar design ,into this not so clean and clear design. I think you get the idea. If you were doing this for a family pot luck, I would make this in a 8x8 glass pan Don't have the dog in the kitchen like I did good luck have fun.
