Hello Nicole! There are a number of suggested methods to remove tar from fabric -- they can be found on the Internet. They range from using WD-40 to peanut butter. However with microfiber, it may be a little more difficult and that's why I'm recommending that you contact a professional to remove the tat; otherwise, you may damage your fabric.
Try in an inconspicuous spot first. Check under the cushions, on the deck of the sofa, for a label that states what can be used to clean it:
