I turned a $4.00 beat up guitar into a wall clock. I removed the piece next to the hole & spray painted it and the inside of the hole in black I removed the tiny round dots from the neck was painted black. Used gold to accent the raised lines on the neck. Glued the dots back in place. Then I decoupaged the base with a mixture of Elmer's glue and water. The paper is vintage sheet music. I painted the picks red and glazed over with black. A $1.00 nautical clock was dismantled leaving the center piece, this was painted black. Total cost $5.00. Gave this to my nephew who plays guitar. It sits sideways on a shelf (clock is adjustable in position) .
