I don't know where you are. I don't know what your climate is nor your soil type. Contact your local garden center/nursery. (not box store like Home Depot nor Lowes). Maybe first resort is your Co-operative Extension Service. Every state has it's own Co-operative Extension Service thru each State's University. They can also recommend a Master Gardener in your area who can give you lots more tips.
