I know that opinions vary, but what's your opinion?!I have great luck w Rosemary plants. Green all year long.
Chickens roam and eat bugs and stuff off the ground. If you feed them feed, they shouldn't bother you plants. Free range gives them plenty of area to find what they need, and fresh water. My parents once had 250 chickens, and during the war sold the eggs for extra income. Good Luck!
None, they go where they want. Fence off the plants instead of the chickens.
