I purchased this 3 foot piece of counter top for our bathroom at a garage sale for $1, but it is a little warped I realized when I got home. Is there a way to maybe make it straight again. All help is greatly appreciated. thank you, Barb

Can u put a 2x4 under it to hold the middle up to the same height as the edges?

Sounds like a Formica top. When you install it, it will have a little give. So as you screw it down, have someone sit on the up side to hold it in it's correct place, screw it down & over time it will relax & remain strait.

So the particle board underneath got wet...... First I would seal all the areas where water can get in, including the underneath with a gloss enamel or epoxy. Then I would put on the vanity counter apron with a level on top and slowly add shims underneath until it levels, then screw down from underneath with l-brackets to the cabinet. Cut off the excess shim material with a box cutter.

Shims, thin pieces of wood usually cedar ... can use a cedar shingle cut into strips. Paint sticks work too.
