I tried last year and my south window did not get enough light, my eaves were to deep to get full sunlight. My rosemary was the only thing that survived. You may need a grow light if you don't have a window that gets full sun. You also need to remember that your house will be dryer than when they were outside so they may need more watering than they did outside. Good luck and enjoy your herbs year round!
