overwatering is a problem. Be sure it has proper drainage or it can get root rot. Also check to see if the pot is too small and it's rootbound.

I had a very similar armoire, which was pretty beat up after going through 3 daughters. With very minor changes (mostly removing the door from the large space and refinishing the surfaces -- I painted the whole thing) it became my "quilting cabinet." The large space was just right for folded quilts (finished or unfinished), and the drawers for tools, yarn, cutout shapes, and other materials. I added bookends on the top for my pattern books and notes, and the bottom drawer held batting. Made a nice addition to my sewing/guest room.

I think that cabinet would make a great rolling bar cart or even a kitchen island. It gives a lot of space for storage and that space with the door would hold tall bottles. Attaching 4 caster wheels would be easy. That would make it mobile for inside or outside use. Best of luck to you.

I had an armoire very similar to that for my children. After cycling through my 3 girls and several friends, it was pretty beat up. With very little effort, it was transformed into my "quilting cabinet." I removed the door and hardware from the large space and refinished the whole thing -- I painted it to match the room I had in mind. Then the large space was perfect for storing folded quilts, completed or even unfinished ones. The drawers held cut outs, tools, yarn, and all sorts of miscellaneous stuff I used for making quilts. The large drawer at the bottom held batting, and I added bookends on top for my quilting books and notes. It made a nice space saving addition to my sewing/guest room.
