Put 1/4 cup vinegar (use the cheapest you can find) and 3/4 cup water into a measuring cup. Heat for 5 minutes. Allow to sit and steam for another 5 minutes. Remove cup (carefully!) and wipe out microwave with soft clean cloth.

  • Boil a cup of water for 3 minutes. Loosens all the gunk, you should be able to wipe clean!

Put a cup of water in the microwave and cook it on high to steam. That will loosen particles that are stuck on. Wipe it out with a gentle spray cleanser. Wipe the interior after you get splatters on it immediately and you won't have to do deep cleaning very often.

Use mild dish detergent, water, and a soft cloth. Rinse well. I even use windex sometimes, but be sure to rinse it off too. I also put the platter in the dishwasher as needed.
