Yes, Spray paint will give you the best finish.
If you have a cardboard box, you can sit it with the top open and the front cut to fold down outwards. Then lay a rod across the top to hang your balls on. Instant spraying booth!
:)
Or if you have any wire mesh like chicken wire or an old grate, you can place that on the opening on top and hang the ornaments from the wire. Spray the back row first, then add rows, spraying before you hang the next row up. When that side is dry, gently remove the balls and turn to the other side. Then spray the balls again, one row at a time.
I really depend on my large cardboard paint boxes. The box should be open facing you. The top side has a big square cut out on top on three sides, but I leave the last edge connected so I can flip the flap as I need it. I can spray inside the garage or outside without worrying about stray spray hitting the cars, fence, or anything else. Best wishes 😇
String some fishing line between two shepherds hooks. What have you got to work with?
yup! that would get you the most even results
Thanks Naomie, I think the cardboard box is going to work well for me!
You can use a curtain extension rod in a doorway or over a window at the top and hang your decorations from it with ribbon. Just loop the ribbon arond the rod so you can slide them left or right when finished to get the look you want. Hang them at staggard height levels for interest instead of all the same level across! If you dont have a doorway you can use a rod and set it into a couple of those fancy wall brackets so the rod will be held out away from the wall. The bigger the balls the larger the bracket should be! OR use ribbons to hang a group of balls (all a different levels like upside down balloons) on a simple hook. The hook could screw into the side of a doorway or the side of a china cabinet or ???? good luck
Yes otherwise you will never get an even coat. Be careful not to over spray or you will get drips.
