I want to put herbs with roots sticking into the aquarium but not sure about how the structure should look I'm renting so I have to be careful

i haven't seen hydroponics with herbs, mostly veggie but i do know where to get supplies and advice. there is an on line catalog for a company out of iowa- farmtek.com there are also u tube videos on hydroponics.
