I just love lavender- it is my favourite flower. I have some lavender growing outside my house near my fence and the flowers are absolutely beautiful. There are many types of lavender and I seem to have luck growing the French lavender. I have bought some artificial lavender to do my project.
What you'll need
1) Artificial lavender
2) Small terracotta pot
3) Dry foam block
4) Spagnum moss
5) Glue
6) Scissors
7) Knife
Here's how to make it:
1) First cut one small square of the foam and place it in the bottom of your pot.
2) Then push the lavender bunches gently into the foam block at the bottom of the pot. They will easily go in.
3) Using a knife, cut three small triangular pieces of foam and push these down alongside the lavender flowers. The foam should be 1/2 inch below the top of the pot.
4) Then glue the moss on top of the foam.
5) And that's it! Now you can find a nice place to put your lavender pot. You can make 1 or 2 and group them together. This is very easy and fun to make.
You can of course use any choice of flower you'd like! I love my lavender pots!
