Thrift Store Buffet Turned Painted TV Console

I got this buffet at a thrift store for the bargain price of $25. My client was looking for a tv console and this was the perfect size. It was really scratched up and dirty but it had good bones. I took it home and cleaned off all of the filth.
I then mixed my own chalkpaint using the Plaster of Paris recipe. I painted the entire piece with two coats of ivory and then went over all of the inset areas with a beige. After the paint was dry I distressed the whole piece and then went over the whole thing with Annie Sloan's light and dark waz to give it an aged look. I painted the inside of the drawers and cabinets with turquoise to go with my client's living room. I also spray painted all of the original hardware with an oil rubbed bronze.
My client was thrilled with the result and has their tv hanging directly above it!
