Autumn Annuals

Does anyone know what colorful autumn annuals I can plant in my front yard? i have sandy soil in the yard. I don't have anything growing and would like to create a nice landscaped area in the front yard from the veranda area, something i can relax in as well. the area is about 12 meters long x 4 meters wide, I have 2 sides (concrete walls) and the area in the middle from the house (veranda) to the wall bordering the property. The whole area is essentially a rectangular shape...

Mums and zinneas and bachelor buttons will give color all summer and well into the fall.

Sedum, is a really nice perennial that blooms in the fall and so is yellow coneflower

I love Chinese Paper laterns, Ornamental Kale, marigolds, of course - all the reds, oranges, and yellows. And if you can grab them in the summer to last til fall, I like Sweet Potato vines thrown in there...oh! Burning bush, which is a perennial but one worth having~! Hope this helps!!

mums are ideal in sandy soil. Also zinnias, and dahlias. Sedum is good but it spreads constantly.
