I don't know what all you've tried but these are my favorites:
Oxy Clean made into a paste and let it sit for 10 minutes (try in an inconspicuous place first it might fade carpet)
Try Miracle Stain Remover-I swear by the stuff!
And here is a DIY approach:
https://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/the-best-way-to-remove-tough-carpet-stains
"Jun 26, 2017 - Step 4 – Repeat. Spray more of the ammonia and water mixture onto the stain as needed to keep it moist, then repeat the ironing process using a clean towel. It may take a few towels, depending on how severe the stain is, but eventually the whole stain should come up out of the carpet!"
You might have to use a hiding base coat such as Kilz on your wall to cover if you can't get the red out of the wall and need to repaint. I've used it to hide black paint in a house we bought. The teen who had the room thought it was cool to have a completely black room! I painted over it all with Kilz and painted it yellow. You can take a chip of your paint to have it matched at a paint store. I know Lowe's and Home Depot can custom mix from a sample. ( A phone picture won't do....;-)
Good luck!
Start by placing a piece of wax paper on the wall to cover the space, tape it so it doesn't move. Next, use an iron on medium heat, NO. STEAM. Glide the iron over the wax paper, this should bring the wax onto the paper. Use masking tape for this job.
Try peroxide with a cotton round, the kind you use to take make-up off with. Lightly put the cotton over the top of the bottle, and tilt. Rub in a small circular motion about the size of a quarter. Let it sit for 5 minutes and see if the color changed at all. If it's the color you want to match the rug, move to an other section, and do the same. Don't go outside of the iron burn, then that carpet will be a shade different than the rest. If the first color is still too dark, than do it again in the first space. If the cotton round don't work use a old cotton t-shirt. Good Luck! EJL.
