$6.00
I was bored so we drove to Goodwill. Someone had just dropped off a pile of antiques. They were wet so they were going to take them to the dump. I offered to buy them, got them for 3 bucks each. Im not sure what to call one of them... it looks farmhouse style from maybe the 40's? I could use any input on the age and what the heck it is! Its 4 feet wide by 6 feet tall, 2 pieces solid wood.
Im not sure what it is, a hutch? The bottom of the drawers are stamped with " Fletchman and Sommers, Vancouver, WA
This little dresser has all original casters and hardware. What a find at 3 bucks!

I have no idea about these pieces, but they are STUNNING! You can't go wrong by any means. Repaint in a color of choice and use the in any room. That hutch would make a great desk/work station/storage for a kid's room or an accent piece in a den/living room/dining room. Same for the other piece. You MUST post finished product and where you used them or gave to someone!

This is a type of "pie safe". You use the table part to knead bread or make the pie shells and after cooking store them above. My Grandmother had one very similar and used it to store her baking supplies. It is probably the right height for kneading bread or rolling out pastry as most cabinets or tables are just a little high, unless you are tall. Her's was in an antique faded blue with wire inserts for the windows. There are supposed to be drawers under the table top to hold the utensils for making or cutting the bread or pastry.
