Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
only to use if there are no others plants or grass....white vinegar and water 50/50 a dab of dish soap and a dab of salt
vinagar and water equal proportions
Yes, VINEGAR! I just learned of this myself. Good luck!
IN a spray bottle (from the dollar store), fill with 5% store brand plain white vinegar. Don't fill to the top. Add 2-3 tables spoons of plain store brand table salt. Then add a squirt of dishwashing liquid. Spray the weeds, preferably on a hot day. By night time they will be brown. Just be very careful not to get at of it on plants or grass that you want to live - it kills ALL. It will keep a while if you do not use it up all in one day. Ok for kids and dogs/ cats. May sting their paws, with the salt, but will not really hurt them.
I use 1 gallon of vinegar, 1 cup of Epson salt and quarter cup of Dawn dish soap.
